Vintage Vert is situated in the pretty hilltop hamlet of Lahitte Toupiere in the Hautes Pyrenees next to the Gers departement, with views of open countryside and the Pyrenees.

Lahitte Toupiere lies on the Arles Pilgrim route to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galacia, North West Spain, where tradition has it that the remains of the apostle St James are buried.

The surrounding countryside is dotted with attractive bastide villages such as Bassoues, Trie sur Baise, Tournay and Saint Sever de Rustan, which are ideal places to while away a few hours over a stroll, a cup of coffee or a spot of lunch.
